Whilst I will undertake any mechanical work on your bicycle I also offer three seperate service packages :

 

Basic Service (£50*): This is essentailly a 'Bike MoT' and safety check.

I will check and adjust the operation of your gears, brakes and wheels.  Pump up the tyres and oil the chain. The bike will be inspected for any signs of wear or damage that could be a safety issue. All bolts will be checked. Full details can be found here.

 

Intermediate Service (£70*): Consider this an annual service for those who do not use their bike that often, or six-monthly service for the commuters and keen cyclists. A full Basic Service plus the drivetrain (gears) will be degreased, cleaned and regreased. This service will be undertaken at my workshop. Full details can be found here. 

 

Full Service (£140*): A service for keen cyclists, die-hard commuters and those who want to ensure that their bike remains in top condition. This service will be undertaken in my workshop. Your bike will be stripped back to the frame, with all components removed, inspected, cleaned and regreased. The frame and forks will be checked for damage and alignment. The wheels will be trued. Hydraulic brakes will be bled. The bike will be returned to you cleaned and polished. Full details can be found here.

 

Price list: The current (2024-25) Slime Cycleworks price list can be found here. Whilst not exhaustive it covers most work. Please get in touch for an accurate (and free) estimate of work.

 

No hidden costs: Before replacing any parts initially agreed I will contact you to get permission to go ahead with any additional work. I will then re-quote the full cost of the service or repair.

 

Extras: The list is almost endless, however I am available for anything from puncture repair to  suspension servicing and wheel building. If you are unsure of what you might require then just get in touch.

 

Travel: I work within a reasonable radius of Didcot in South Oxfordshire. Due to increased costs there is a small surcharge of £5 for all completed work outside of the OX11 Postcode.

 

Event Support: I can provided mechanical support to cycling events, sportives, cycling schemes and active travel days that your company or group may be involved in. Please get in touch to discuss your requirements.
